In your skewering machines, how many skewers do you have to remake due to broken sticks?
How many products are lost?
How much do the recovery operations cost?
Breakage of sticks can be caused by their defects, such as partial missing material and a poorly made tip, the latter being an almost normal aspect.
Also, why use sticks with a tip?
A stick without a tip is not dangerous, not even for children.
With our modular skewering machines, the solution is simple: just equip the machine with a pre-piercing device that:
- prevents hard components (ribs? vegetable peels? anything else?) from deflecting the stick, resulting in breakage;
- makes a way in which the stick, with poorly made tip or without tip, fits perfectly, a kind of “guide” that makes the machine less susceptible to other possible defects.
With our synchronized device, the insertion end of the stick follows the pre-drilling needle a few millimeters apart: no more slowing down, lost products, stick breakage.
