The SPDE skewer machine by FAVA GIORGIO AXEL is electro-pneumatically operated, features a modular design, and is highly affordable.
The loading area ranges from 1.5 to 6 meters: it can also be increased on machines already in operation as production needs change. Actual productivity reaches 3,600, 5,400, or 7,200 skewers per hour, depending on the model, the complexity of the skewer, and the number of operators.
With a simple adjustment, skewers ranging from 150 to 250 mm in length and 3 mm to 4.5 mm in diameter can be used, feeding the loading hoppers without having to stop the machine.
The characteristics of the skewer guidance system during the insertion phase make the machine extremely tolerant of skewer deformation.
The sticks follow the stainless-steel pre-piercing needles almost in contact with them, ensuring that there are no hard parts to deflect them during insertion, even if they are slightly bent. This eliminates the risk of breakage and allows for the use of sticks without tips.
The molds where the products are placed are easily removable, with no elastic elements that could break. They are dishwasher-safe, and changing formats is quick and easy. A removable cover beneath the conveyor belt prevents components from falling onto the floor during machine operation and facilitates sanitization of the skewer machine itself.
The skewers can be removed from the molds by grasping the ends, if both are protruding, or by directly acting on the product using appropriate elastic elements. An optional unloading belt receives the skewers to transfer them to the packaging station.
A control panel with a simple and intuitive operator interface allows you to manage the machine, connect it to the company’s management system, and perform remote technical support.
