Bacon handling: combing and loading – unloading and decombing
Inserting bacon bellies into the hanging hooks is a strenuous activity, with risk of injury and occupational illness, and the same is true for hanging operations on the frames.
The bacons are then smoked and frozen, and operators must remove them from the frames, or trees, extract the combs to send them on to further processing.
Our system associates the devices for automatic insertion and extraction of the bellies into and from the hanging bars with our TFRC loading and unloading device, which is also used for hanging salami. The solution takes its cue from the constructional shape of the hanging bar, protected like the rest of the system by international patents, designed to make all operations involving it simple.
It is also suitable for loading and unloading continuous systems with hanging products.
